- Import from Photos can be cancelled while it runs. What was already copied stays in your Library, and importing again carries on where it stopped.
- Screenshots of tickets pick the right date: the show, not the day you booked it. The event is named after the show instead of "Date: …".

8 October 2026 · 16.3 MBDownload 2.51Screenshot a ticket or an invitation and it's in your calendar — with reminders.
- Dates in screenshots go straight into your calendar: a ticket, a booking, an invitation with a date still to come is added to the calendar you chose, with reminders a day and an hour before. A notification tells you, and the preview has Undo. Turn it off in Settings › Integrations.
- Settings › Integrations, redesigned: what's connected at a glance, your drives as cards, and the apps you don't have yet in one tidy list.
- Updates show real download progress instead of sitting at 0%.

8 October 2026 · 16.3 MBDownload 2.50Integrations: Apple and Google Calendar, iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Box and Notion.
- Settings › Integrations: connect each service from one page.
- Calendars: allow access once, choose which calendar dates go into — iCloud, Google, Exchange — and "Add to Calendar" attaches the capture. Google Calendar appears once your Google account is in System Settings › Internet Accounts.
- Cloud drives: iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive and Box, through their Mac apps. Send any capture to a drive, or have every new capture saved there too, into a Cappture folder.
- Notion: paste an integration secret, choose a page, and Send to Notion adds the capture to it.
- Send to: from a capture's menu in the Library and from the screenshot preview's share button.
- Look: arrows to move along the backdrops. Preview Buttons now live in Settings › Screen.

8 October 2026 · 16.1 MBDownload 2.49Every window redesigned, App Lock set up in three steps, and share links on cloudlink.getcappture.com.
- Turning on App Lock is three steps: choose your Mac's password or a custom one; confirm your Mac's password (checked right in Cappture) or choose and repeat a custom one; then a green check — you're all set, and Touch ID still unlocks it.
- Every sheet has one consistent, polished design: Software Update, What's New, Licence, Feedback, Keyboard Shortcuts, Transcribe, Import from Photos, Batch Edit, Security Keys and the rest.
- Share links are shorter: cloudlink.getcappture.com/… — still end-to-end encrypted, the key never leaves the link.
- Transcribe without your own AI key says so, and takes you to Settings › AI.

8 October 2026 · 16.1 MBDownload 2.48A new 3D launch film, a full photo editor, App Lock that locks on its timer, and a new Look page.
- The launch film, remade in 3D: a sea and a pier at golden hour, every feature flying past, MCP in chrome cubes, and the icon rising as the sun. Replay it from Settings › General.
- A full editor, like Photos': Auto, Light, Colour, Black & White, Sharpen, Noise Reduction, Vignette; 26 filters with intensity; crop with handles, straighten, rotate and flip; markup with pen, highlighter, arrow, line, shapes, text, numbered steps and blur; Compare (hold M), one Undo for everything, Remove Background, and Done or Save a Copy.
- App Lock now locks on the timer you choose — after that long idle even with Cappture in front, or away — and Now locks as soon as you leave it.
- Settings › Look is new: a live preview of the app, theme and navigation as pictures, backdrops in a strip, round colour choices.
- Account: View shows your whole licence key.
- AI uses your own key only — nothing goes through Cappture. Without one, Transcribe and Suggest a name say so and take you to Settings › AI.
- Share Link on a selection: one encrypted link for several captures.
- The Screen page's cards: equal tiles, solid icons, and the sound switch in Record's header.

8 October 2026 · 14.9 MBDownload 2.47A 3D Map of where your captures were taken, and Settings › Screen.
- Map, in the Library: the Earth in full colour and 3D — a globe when you zoom out, real terrain when you zoom in — with photo pins showing how many were taken in each place. Satellite or Map. Places come from Photos when you import, and from your pictures' own location tags.
- Settings › Screen: the Screen page's options live in Settings now; the Screen page keeps the Screenshot and Record cards, with brighter icons.

8 October 2026 · 14.8 MBDownload 2.46Forgot password, albums with covers, drag and drop, and Import from Photos.
- Forgot your App Lock password? Click Forgot password? and enter one of your Cloud security keys — Cappture opens and takes you to Security to change it or turn the lock off. Your Mac's password always works too.
- Albums: make one from the sidebar, give it a cover (right-click a capture › Make Album Cover), rename or delete it from its menu.
- Drag pictures and videos from Finder or any app into the Library — and into the album you're looking at.
- Import from Photos: bring in your whole library, or just the albums you choose, with their dates, places and albums.

8 October 2026 · 14.7 MBDownload 2.45Screen recordings at full quality, a new Screen page, Picture in Picture, and a guided App Lock.
- Screen recordings are sharp now: recorded at your display's real resolution with ten to fifty times the bit rate they had.
- Choose System audio or No audio for every recording, right on the Screen page.
- The Screen page, redesigned: Screenshot and Record, each with Screen, Window and Region and their shortcuts.
- Picture in Picture for any video: from its menu in the Library or the viewer's toolbar. It floats over every app; drag and resize it anywhere.
- Turning on App Lock walks you through it: your Mac's password or a Cappture password, Touch ID on or off, and a green check when it's set. Touch ID now works with either.
- The menu bar runner no longer gets a red dot while recording — the stop button beside it says so.
